History

Allan Water Homes is a trading style of Allan Water Developments Limited.

Allan Water Developments is a family-owned business and has been in existence for thirty years. Although now primarily a property developer, the company had twenty years of owning-operating care homes, exiting that business in July 2006 with the sale of five homes (c. 300 beds).

The profile of developments has been broad including residential apartments and houses, commercial and industrial units, and care homes. In the past, Allan Water Developments has directly managed operations; we have now completed a change in structure to allow all future projects to be managed on a contractual basis. This will result in a leaner operation, carrying lower overheads, and allow us to operate more cost effectively in the current economic climate.

Operating across central Scotland, with sites in Glasgow, Stirling, Dunblane, Alloa and Dunfermline, current projects include residential housing from two-bedroom terraced houses to five-bedroom luxury detached homes, and a commercial-retail park with c.70,000 square feet of rental space.
